JD lists two loaders for the 790... don't recal one but the other is a "419"... is the difference weight capacity? Lift height? Both? Is either one "the one" to buy??

the other is the model "70"
the 419 has a little more lift but the main reason is the
quick attach buckets in three sizes and the quick attach pallet forks ....

Don't think I'd be using pallet forks any time soon, but a front blade would be a good possibilty.. leading me to my next question... does the entire FEL come off and the blade mount to some type of specific frame, or can the bucket come off and a blade go in it's place? ....

I have a 419 loader on a 790. Can have the whole works off in just a jiffy. Bucket comes of after you remove 2 linch pin (?) and set bucke on ground and tilt foward and back up the tractor, very easy to do and a must when mowing. Shortens up the tractor for tight areas you may have to mow. You need to go to a dealer and let them show you how easy it is to remove the bucket or the whole loader. ....

OK.. I'll be checking out the 790 w/ 419 tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to afford a front blade, and a post hole digger, too.... If not, the 2210 should do.
Glad I found this site.. you guys know your stuff.. ....
